interesting stuff today
we were in second hour of school and talking about 1984
suddenly around 9:15 the intercom turns on and our vice principal’s telling us to head outside to the bleachers by the football field. her voice is kinda shaky but we pass it off like, “whateverrrr, probably an assembly.”
once we’re out their we’re kind of joking about how they’re finally planning on getting rid of us pesky kids and how they’re going to bury us. the principal tells us there’s another canine drug sweep going on, and we’re kinda like, “oh,” because they usually just tell us that and lock us in classrooms.
around a half hour later one of our friends are like, “hey, it’s actually a bomb threat.”
…
well then.
so we wait a little longer, and it’s around ten thirty-ish? my phone was in school still so i don’t know the exact times. we’re still on the bleachers and it’s kinda cold and my friend and i are watching a show on her phone. our principal comes on and finally tells us it’s a bomb threat, though everyone knows by now, and that the k-9 crew is heading in to look in the school. we were allowed to go out of the bleachers, so we hung out on the football field. one of our friends who wasn’t in for the day texted us and told us that the entrances were blocked by police. like, all the entrances to the school. serious stuff.
finally around eleven, they let the teachers in to examine their classrooms, and we were allowed to leave if we wanted to, if our parents talked to our second hour teachers. i did that with a friend’s phone, and we headed to cancun and froyo for lunch.
a scary day, but fun at the end, since the threat wasn’t real.
a friend sent me a link to don’t hug me i’m scared and now the stupid song is stuck in my head but it’s creepy and i can’t stop watching it but i don’t like it what do i do
